Rail Systems Road Technology Program
History
Rail Systems Road Technology Program has been accepting students since the 2019-2020 Academic Year.
Degree Earned
Students who successfully complete this program are entitled to receive an associate degree in Motor Vehicles and Transportation Technologies (Rail Systems Road Technician Title).
Admission Requirements
Citizens of the Republic of Turkey must complete the processes / pass the exams determined by ÖSYM within the framework of the academic and legal regulations of our university. Foreign students are accepted according to our university's 'Foreign Students Application, Admission and Registration Directive.

A student who has started his/her education in an equivalent program in Turkey or abroad can apply for horizontal transfer. The acceptance of students is examined and evaluated individually before the semester begins, taking into account each student's conditions and the degree they applied for.
Transition to the Next Level
Those who successfully complete the Rail Systems Technology program can transfer to the undergraduate program when they receive sufficient points in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by ÖSYM. Our graduates can vertically transfer to the Civil Engineering and Rail Systems Engineering undergraduate programs.
Graduation Requirements
In order for the student to graduate, he/she must be successful in all courses (120 ECTS) and have a minimum Weighted General Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00/4.00. In addition, the student must have completed a 20-day Professional Internship and been accepted.
Graduate Employment Opportunities
Graduate students who successfully complete the Rail Systems Road Technology Program and receive the title of “Rail Systems Road Technician” are employed in active companies operating in the rail systems sector such as TCDD, TCDD Transportation Inc., Yapı Merkezi Construction and Industry Inc., Gülermak Inc., Kolin Inc., Alarko Inc., etc. and in urban rail system enterprises such as Metro İstanbul Inc., Estram Inc., Kayseray Inc., Samulaş, İzmir Metro Inc. in line with the competencies they have gained.
Assessment and Evaluation
Students are given 3 exam rights each semester: Mid-Term Exam, End-Term Exam and Supplemental Exam. The student's success is evaluated according to the Relative Evaluation system.
